Dear Parent of future Kindergarten Students,

It is with tremendous anticipation that we, the Kindergarten staff of Meairs Elementary School, welcome you and your child to Kindergarten. In order to create the most effective learning environment for your child, we have provided you this list of important supplies our child will use throughout the school year. Please purchase the following items and bring them with you on the first day of school.

• 1 box Crayons (24 count Crayola)
• 6 Glue Sticks (Elmers)
• 1 Pair of Scissors (5" Fiskars)
• 1 Pencil Box (plastic)
• 2 Dry Erase Markers (Expo/thin tip/black)
• 1 box of Kleenex
• 2 Spiral Notebooks (Single Subject, Wide Ruled)

• 5 - #2 pencils
• 2 big erasers
• 5 pencil top erasers
• 1 box of Crayola crayons (16 count)
• 2 glue sticks
• 1 bottle of 4 oz. Elmer's white school glue
• 1 box of 10 count Crayola fine line markers (Classic Colors)

Classroom:

• 2 boxes of Kleenex tissues
• 2 Expo Dry Erase markers
• 2 packages of baby wipes
• 1 box of disinfecting wipes
• 1 family size bottle of hand sanitizer with pump
• 1 box of gallon size clear storage bags
• 1 box of sandwich bags

Supplies for the Classroom:

• Kleenex tissue boxes
• Baby wipes (for white boards)
• 1 bottle of hand sanitizer gel
• 1 bottle antibacterial soap
• Post-It notes
• Ziploc plastic sandwich bags
• Ziploc plastic gallon size bags

The following items are necessary for a prepared student to thrive in 3rd grade.

Teacher will provide:

• Pencil pouch
• Pencils
• Crayons
• Notebooks

For each student, please provide:

• Backpack or book bag
• Hand held pencil sharpener with lid
• Markers
• Glue sticks
• Highlighter
• Expo Marker
• Colored pencils

For the class, please donate:

In addition to the recommended supplies listed below, the 4th grade is asking for a $10.00 donation to support our field trips for the school year (checks can be made out to: Meairs School - 4th Grade).
