Principal's Message

Welcome to the start of a thrilling new school year at Meairs Elementary! As your new principal, I am both honored and excited to join this vibrant community and work alongside you to make this year exceptional for our students, staff, and families.

First, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to each of you for the warm welcome I have already received. As we embark on this journey together, I am committed to ensuring that Meairs Elementary continues to be a place where students are inspired to learn, grow, and reach their fullest potential.

This year, our focus will be on fostering a nurturing environment where every child feels valued and supported. We have exciting plans in place to enrich our academic programs, encourage creativity, and promote a sense of belonging among our students. Our motto—Be Responsible, Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Your Best!—will guide us in all our endeavors and help instill important values in our students.

Collaboration between home and school will be key to our success, and I encourage you to stay actively involved in your child’s education. One of the best ways to make a meaningful impact is by volunteering your time or joining our Parent-Teacher Association (PTA). Whether you can help out in the classroom, assist with school events, or simply lend your voice to our PTA meetings, your involvement will help create a vibrant and supportive environment for our students. Volunteering is a wonderful opportunity to connect with other parents, stay informed about school activities, and contribute to our collective mission of student success.

Our dedicated team of educators is eager to welcome back our students and to meet those who are new to Meairs Elementary. We have been working diligently over the summer to prepare for a year filled with engaging lessons, innovative activities, and opportunities for all students to shine.
